Hello, i am called folklore. The reason why is that it is my favorite game.
Any way i decided to stop being a shadow on the wall.
My hobbies are reading and video games.
Reading i will try to read just about anything i get my hands on, but prefer sci fi or fantasy.
As for video games i play mostly strategy games. Though i enjoy most games.

Ian, my apologies about ignoring you before. It was actually Thanatological who gave me problems before, and not you. Just wanted to clear that up.

Hard to say. Though i would go with either Dan Abnett, or Kate Griffin.

Have you tried the Terry Goodkind series Sword of Truth?

Be warned, it's roughly 12000 pages small font and it's also mature.

i mostly read terry pratchett these days, but i'm still looking for a new series to get into.

I have heard of Terry Goodkind.  More then once as i was shelving books at the local library, i have glanced at a couple of his books. They looked really good, and last time i checked they had a huge tv tropes page.

So...you're into 40k then. Abnett is pretty good, especially his book on the Titans and the Gaunt's Ghosts series.

I'm in the middle of the Mistborn series myself, and to be honest, I'm very impressed. Sanderson is very good at breaking the typical mold, and there's a very unique magic system that I've never seen before. I highly recommend him.

Welcome man! :D
I would highly suggest The Lost Fleet series to read. it's a great sci-fi story of a human fleet trapped in enemy territory trying to find some way back home.

Lost fleet = awesomeness! Yes a very good read, not just for the combat bits but also the moral of the story. Another good series is David Weber's safehold series where humanity is in hiding from a alien civilazation and is dumbed down to a dark ages for safety. Then a Robot with memories of a young fleet officer named nimue wakes up and has to reawaken society to be ready for round two with the aliens. However there is one big problem the safeholdians have a repressive anti-tech religon who is ruled by corrupt men. These men have access to all the world's resources of manpower and minerals. However luckly there is discontent amoungst the islands of the sea who look to make things easier. There the story begins. 5 books so far.

The lost fleet seires sounds awesome.  Who writes it?  I also recommend The pantheon seires by james lovegrove.

Jack Cambell :) the name of each of the books is one of the ship names in the fleet but they all stay focused on the same main character on the flagship (book 1 = Dauntless, book 2 = Fearless etc)

What is it about?

I'm an african american male. I live in NC and enjoy the more physical sports such as football, boxing, or wrestling. Gaming is a fun and new hobby i enjoy. I prefer PC games over idk battlefield 3 or as i like to call the RT games, where u just click RT and something dies.

I will be getting into this game as well as Tera online.
