Hey this is Jeru. Yes i'm one of those persons who will be a bit... careful in disclosure of information. But my off line name is James and I like reading, playing video games, and occasionally writing. I play RTS a lot and I play a bit of LoL, but honestly I'm not great at it  . Also like starcraft 2 but I really like games like Civ 5 and Total War: empire. Partically Empire because of the how reallitic it is. Yes I have played sins of a solar empire but I think i'm really odd cause I love the Advent. I also play a few RPG's but not many. Too... many... buttons... Oh btw I did post a fan fiction if you liked it great! If not just tell me. Hoping that this will be one fun gaming community.

ike the idea of this game, and again the community seems stellar so far!

Welcome to the forums! :D glad you are getting involved this time around and it is nice to see someone from Wales for once :D don't think I have ever encountered a welshman online at all untill now!

Sounds like the experience  I have had with LoL where if you are just with random people nothing good can come of it and people tend to blame each other which is a shame as the chances are you were just out-played and it was one particular persons fault and also: Taric is just fabulous!.
I got Total War but I stopped at Empire and Medieval 2 as the Shogun stuff doesn't interest me as much as the european side of stuff :P

Hiya!

My name is Michael and I usually go by Washuaddict wherever I go online. I play a bunch of games, just like the rest of ya! I play a lot of RTS's (but I'm no pro, I just like to play with my friends) and I do play a little League of Legends (not very much, <had to cut it down>

Welcome dude :)
that's alot of different genre's of games you play :P
And as for this game, no-one is a great player ;) you may have found the first game you might be great at especially since you play alot of RTS :D

My name is Edward. Im 22, and im from Spain (sorry if my english isn´t good or something : P). Im studying a degree of Speech Therapy (my first year) because i love all of that which involves voice treatment and that.
<had to cut the quote down

Welcome Edward :)
Speech Therapy? what would that involve?
Ahhh Payday..a great game though doesn't have alot of content to last for many more months unless they release that giant expansion they want to full of new heists, weapons and stuff.
LoL + SoaSE fan? always a plus IMO :D

Haven't heard alot about Torchlight 2 im afraid though I think you might be into a game called Grim Dawn then :) it's a victorian-era themed diablo type game from the guys who made Titan Quest

Advent are a very unique and cool race to play, I was experimenting with them a few months ago and they seemed pretty fun but I just coulden't bring myself to leave my beloved Marza :( They haven't released the Advent on the Rebellion beta yet but the TEC are just..well...goodluck trying to crack the Loyalist shell ^_^ haha

I have no doubt it will be one fun gaming community :D

Again, welcome all :D

I actually play some Sins of a Solar Empire, but I had no idea that Ironclad was also involved with this game until I researched it.
Yeah, I'll play just about any game that's out there. It's good to experience different genres.
You're pretty on top of responding to everyone. That's quite welcoming! =^^=

I'm getting pretty pumped to try this game out now!

Awesome! :D Have you tried out Rebellion yet?
And it is a good thing to try out many different types of games but I just find it impossible to try them all haha :) that's why I leave the Racing and Sports games for other people (Though I do have a few racing games on the consoles I own)

Thantological gifted me a 3 day pass to Nuclear Dawn last night, have you played it at all? it mixes FPS and RTS. still yet to play it :\

And thanks alot! :D I do try hehe

Hi everyone,

Im Martian, i am a huge SoaSE fan :)   A huge Diablo series fan!  I also play racing games, FPS's, RPG's and the only MMO game i have tried is Warcraft, because it was free to level 20 and i hoped by playing it i would get a Diablo 3 beta key.
Which i didnt :( lol

I am absolutely gagging at the bit to get my hands on Rebellion and cant wait to see what treats this game has in store for us!

Hey Martian, are you as excited about May 15th as I am? :D  I don't think I can survive until that date.

Anyway, My name is Jacob, I live in Montreal and I'm a huge *spreds his arms out as to make an expression of Huge* Diablo and SC fan.  I spend a lot of my free time watching sc2 casts (tastetossis ftw) when I'm not working as a web developer (which is my other passion).  This game looks very interesting and very promising and I cant wait to try the beta.

last post was a few days ago, but ill just see if i can revive this thing now.

i go by murdeoc on almost all of my online communication, so i'll just stick w that for now. used to study psychology (dropped out, i'm a working man now) have an extra job on the side in a bar in a city in the netherlands. got tipped on sins by a friendly dude i know from LoL. i used to play C&C generals a lot and loved that, i'm installing the free bits of startcraft 2 atm although my experience w sc is that i suck at the micro (which makes it a good game for learning) never really got into MMO's which is kinda weird since it should be right up my ally. it's usually other ppl that turns me off MMO's.
further i mainly play single-player rpg's like skyrim (although morrowind is still my favorite in the series), neverwinter nights2, dragon age origins... stuff like that. been playing LoL for about 6 months and that is the first and only DotA-style game i really play. have played a few starbattles and a bit of bloodline champions (f2p on steam).

C+C Generals was an amazing game especially with how unique and seperate from the other two series it was :)
Neverwinter Nights 2 was largely pretty "meh" for me. no-where near as good as the first.
Same for me with LoL being a first DOTA game though i've been at it for over a year now :) hehe

Well, welcome to the forums nonetheless and I hope you enjoy the game like many of us will be ^_^

Hey Grant, welcome!
Game of Thrones is a great series (haven't read the books yet)
Myself being a huge sci-fi fan, I am interested what sci-fi stuff you are into :)

I'm Effay, I like science fiction games mostly (have been playing Starcraft 2 almost exclusively since it's release, currently a platinum zerg trying to claw his way into diamond) but the concept of this game is interesting enough for me to want to try it.

c&c generals was indeed the best in the series imo, although the zero hour add-onn screwed it for me, my team (china) got way underbalanced. but after that i got into warcraft 3 and i still tend to install it and play it completely through every once in awhile. never got around to playing it online though, that i am planning to do with starcraft 2 now.
and i'm slowly getting the hang of LoL by now

I haven't tried out Rebellion yet! Is it fun?!?

It's hard to try everything. Most FPS's, I can easily play. Hack-n-slashes are definitely my favorite (I'm super excited for Orochi 3 to reach stateside!) The only sports games I play are Tennis related and my dad and I dabble a little in the racing games =^^=

Nuclear Dawn kinda reminds me of C&C renegade! I haven't tried it yet!

C+C Generals was the last of the decent C+C games. When they released RA3 that is when I realised they lost it. nowhere near as fun as RA2 or Generals.
and IMO RA2 was THEE best C+C game out of them all. with Generals being 2nd ;)

Yeah it is VERY fun though they have only let us play with both TEC races at the moment but they are definantly very very different beasts! just be very weary when playing against a Rebel TEC faction and using the pirates against them ;) you will regret it haha

Go look up a game called Grim Dawn :D think you might like it!
Than sent me an invite for Nuclear Dawn 2 and I did install it but I never got the chance to play it for the duration (too much LoL and ME3) :P

American "football"? pff. more like Rugby, heck! you don't even kick the ball most times so it's pointless calling it "football" there :P
