Wonder if they will add some type of battlemage.

This here is off and on work as I haven't had any inspiration to continue it as of late.



Photoshop but nothing really done to it.

Not bad at all, but I think the bird is kind of random. Is there a reason you chose a bird pauldron? Also, it looks a little sci-fi in places like the gas mask. The game is pretty medieval so that might not gel so well. Are the shoes going to be symmetrical? I would keep them the same since his belt and arms are already asymmetric. I can't quite tell what the shapes on the chest are supposed to be, they look interesting but maybe the need to be fleshed out a bit more.

Totally agree with Kola_Commander on the these points especially on the sci-fi part. If you could fit it to the art of SoaDA that would be pretty sweet!

To be honest, it was a sketch I made awhile ago. I made this long before I even knew about this game. I was going for an apocalyptic battlemage really. Sketch was done in about an hour. He was originally suppose to have air powers but I started changing it to be more demonic powers and at this time was changing everything. The bird chest just came from the power theme plus he was suppose to be a good guy.

For the chest/legs - I havent done anything really. A lot of it would have been cleaned up once I started the line work.

I will probably work on the same concept, just making it more fit their theme/style.

On a offtopic note, it would be cool if the dev's reached out to the community to get ideas for new heroes.

I hope, if all goes well, that they would look to the community for some idea's. However if they do it often enough there maybe trouble. Not because it will be boring or anything like that. It's just a troll waiting to pounce with a surpise copyright that i'm wary of.

Yea I share your concerns, If they really wanted to I'm sure they could work up some sort of eula type thing to cover it. But it was just a thought.
It's just nice to be involved on some level with the games you play.
