I just read about this today, and I was so excited I jumped right online to find out more. It's a combination of 3 of my favorite things, RTS, squad-gamplay, and online gaming with friends. I played SoaSE, and was impressed with how unique (and difficult) it was. Sins of a Dark Age sounds way more exciting than any free MOBA to date, even my current one, League of Legends. Also the problems with LoL, such as major bugs that go unaddressed and a lack creativity, are probably going to push me away entirely and make SoaDA, my one and only MOBA. Who else is abandoning LoL in favor of SoaDA?

I predict there will be a lot of people playing both games at the same time. I think SoaDA will also draw in a crowd of RTS gamers that would have otherwise avoided Action-RTS games.

It'll have its niche. Hybrid genres aren't really popular, despite how good they are and potentially are.

It's fairly sad that the only "hybrid" that has really gained widespread popularity is anything with "MMO" attached to it.

I'll still replace LoL with SoaDA though. Most likely will replace DotA 2 too.

I hope to replace it but I think the chances are will be a mix of SoaDA and LoL depending on what my friends feel at the time. I will be bringing them along with me to try it out and im sure they will love it ^_^

My friends are currently playing LoL so that is where I spend my time. But I hope to replace LoL with SoaDA, LoL has become so stale.

If this is to replace lol, it will need a lot more races.

I've been with League of Legends since alpha, infact I was 1 of the first 500 people to play the game, LOL has evolved significantly since then but it is still as addictive as ever. SOADA will have to do a lot to usurp it, we will see how well it is when we all start playing the game. Until then everything and anything is subjective.

Screen shots and videos only do so much until then, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, I say!

I highly doubt it will replace LoL, but I look at this game differently than LoL. Idk, we'll see.

Agree it will not replace LoL as a game but it will surely generate interest in different player bases, be it from strategic players from games like Supreme Commander and similar strategy oriented 'RTS' or from LoL and similar action oriented strategic team games.

If this game has any kind of player base at all, I'm saying shorter than a 15 minute wait to start a game, and as long as Ironclad does the job I've come to expect of them, I'm absolutely going to replace LoL with this.

This will easily replace LOL for there is no point to LOL for me anymore, and the idea this presents, a commander controlling the troops, instead of them running in preset and predetermined paths is a good idea to me, that far surpasses LOL

GOODNESS YES!!!!   As long as the community doesn't become as toxic as LOL's, and if Ironclad provides good support and content (don't see why they wouldn't) I'll be switching fairly quickly.

i'm pretty confident i will enjoy this way more than LoL, but i still dont think i will completely stop playing LoL since i have a lot of friends playing it and i know that at least some of them are not interested in soada at all (dont ask me why, i guess theyre just idiots :()

It just might... I like LoL, but it seems that most of the players are just rude and don't care. A lot of them are great, though! Some of my friend play that, so it'll probably stick. Just gotta wait and see.
