I’m deeply incompetent so it’s more than likely I screwed something up but I can’t seem to set my avatar. Selecting “Change Your Photo” gets me a grey bar and a blue X button, but nothing else.

As someone with no personality and little social skills, I rely on my avatar for almost everything, so you can see how this is a problem for me.

Could you write why you came to this decision? Forum without avatars isn't funny place to look at :D

They are coming back soon. We just wanted to change it so you could choose from Soada specific avatars.

Hi,

Forum avatars can be chosen now! You can access your profile while being logged in, and click on the "Change" link below your current empty photo.

This feature is brand new; you may have to do a "refresh" of the profile page to get the good CSS/styling.

Enjoy! And thanks for your patience.

The topic title will be prefixed with [Solved], to help other people see what issues have been fixed so far.
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention!

I'm having a related problem.  I click on Change, and I can't choose the last two avatar choices if I wanted to.  The site also won't save my choice of avatar.

Thanks in advance,
-ImperatorPavel

Hi ImperatorPavel,

Try emptying the cache and deleting the SoaDA's website cookies, then restart your computer. After that, try to log in again the SoaDA's website. This should solve your issue.

If not, here are some questions in order for us to investigate:
- What browser (incluing its version) are you using?
- What are the two last avatars: the Veric (little beast) and the SoaDA logo?
- Do you see the radio-button corresponding to the last two avatars?

Thanks!

My question about the avatars in the list was not clear

Right.  Now how do I delete Soada's website cookies?  Where are they anyway?

Cheers.
