what i wonder about is how the heroes will watch the battle. fps,tps or classic rts (assymetric view) or do the developers have a new way to show the action that i haven't thought off

Maybe you just control one powerful unit like in the Dota games. View would be still isometric, but your alter ego a single unit

like in moba games you mean. Ontopic: I understand you'll only control one unit. but like in Smite, an upcoming free2play game by Hi-rez, you have a third person view. so it is easier to gank.

Oh man! Wouldn't it be awesome to have the "Strategic zoom" in this game? like in Sins and Supcom?

It will very likely have a traditional RTS camera view. Whether or not it has something like Strategic Zoom will probably depend on the scale of the game (it kinda sounds like the maps will be a bit larger than in other MOBA games)

I was hoping for standard RTS size maps, if there is such a thing as standard size, but yea just what you think of when you think of an RTS map, that size.

From the information we have been given so far, I am assuming that the map scales are going to be variable and fairly large compared to MOBA style games. The reason being that if they are mixing traditional RST aspects into the game, there is going to be room needed for each team to expand their bases and gather resources. On the other hand, they did estimate matches lasting between 20 and 40 minutes so I could be wrong. The point of view most certainly will be variable but all in the third-person. There has been no mention of first-person views, and it leaves anyone using it to a huge disadvantage.

I guess we will have to wait for the devs to tell us about this too.

Im honestly hoping we get a 3rd person view as a hero. My reasons are pretty simple. I don't want too see what the commander sees. I want the commander too see more then I can. He is the one who should have more information and an overview of the game ona  larger scale. I should only be concerned whats going on in the area I am in. I should not see over a hill too the otherside and able too see my commander building something. However, I can't see an effective way too devilver a tradional skill system in such a way without falling into the MMORPG type of system for skills, which if thats the case maybe heroes may have more then three or four skills. However, without knowing the skill system I can't say howI feel about how I will see the game.

I prefer the camera to be an isometric view like you get in LoL, Dota2, HoN etc. not as the commander though! :)

Really excited to see how this all works!! Lots of possibilities (and clearly they've worked out some kind of system already that they like)...
